Bumper Cars

We went shopping on Sunday for Christmas presents at Ocean mall in Santa Marta.

I still had to get presents for my grandparents and my sister Stella.

I was going to get Stella some chocolate or candy.

When we walked in to the store Stella went straight over to a little stand and lifted a bar of chocolate up from the stand. On the cover I could see an orange. I walked up and Stella said it's chocolate with oranges yummmm. I had to get Stella that chocolate. I picked it up and said I want this for myself and I can pay.

I also got a pack of Icebreakers. They were really sour.

When we checked out of the store I put the bar of chocolate in my back pack and we walked around for a little. Then we went up stairs to ... the game room. It had bumper cars and everything. Stella said "an arcade."

We begged our mom to let us go on the bumper cars. Finally she let us. They were so fun!!!!!!

Limonada Adventures

Cutting the limes.
We had just arrived in Santa Marta Colombia yesterday. Today we're going on a trip into town with our friends. The Kid's name is Darien she lives on a little boat named Byamee. We had some other friends that Darien introduced to us. The girl's name is Cassandra. We all met on the dock with our backpacks and stuff like that. Partly why my mom went into town is because she wanted to get a chip, which is how you can use wifi. My mom and dad are really concerned about wifi. Joyce, the mother of Darien, knew a place called tigo it sold chips for the ipad or ipod even a iPhone.

At the place called tigo there was a bin of old iPhone cases. All the kids went over and started sorting them into the different colors. When I looked over at the adults Joyce was sipping what looked like a lime juice freshly squeezed. My mom really wanted one, so my dad, my sister, and I went out on a street. And right there across the street there was a little stand that had lime juice. We walked over and said "we would like to have a lime juice." Of course we said it in Spanish. The guy behind the stand took a big spoon and dipped it into a square tank with white-ish stuff which I guess is something other than lime juice because then he took a lime from the pile of limes and cut the top off then cut two cuts one way and two cuts the opposite way. After he cut it open he put it in a little metal thing that he squeezed and the lime juice came out the bottom.

                                                                   It was delicious.

Tuna Tales

My dad holding the fish
We were going on a passage.

We started in the morning and sailed the whole day.

All that day we had the fishing lines out but like always we caught nothing.

The next day we put the fishing lines out again. We sat around reading playing games and drawing my dad and mom were sitting in the helm seat.

Suddenly the fishing line went berserk and my dad said, "we got a fish." He ran over to the fishing line and started to reel it in. As soon as we saw the fish jump that was on our line I jumped with joy than it was on the surface and surfing towards us.

After it was on the boat and dead my dad bled it which is how you get all the blood out.

After we got it all cut up and into a container we put out the line again. Everyone went back to what they were doing.

                                   I love fishing!!!!

The gohst's of Kleine Bonaire

Once upon a time there was a little island called bonaire.

Over a few years ships came and settled on the island.  Some people went out on a stretch of land that they named Kleine Bonaire (Little Bonaire)

They built a house and lived for many happy years, but one day there was a storm.  It got bigger and bigger, there was thunder and lightning, they were hiding in there house when a spooky voice came from the closet.  It said, "You will die by the hand of JOHN RUBISKY!".

After that no one knew what had happened to the poor family and that's why Keine Bonaire is deserted.

five years later another family came to Bonaire.  They said, "Why is that little part of Bonaire abandoned?" "Its beautiful, I think we will go build a house there." So they built a house.

After a few months, another terrible storm raged and again the family died by the hand of
JOHN RUBISKY.

The people that lived on the other parts of bonaire were wondering what all this spooky business
meant.

Finally they decided that the little part of bonaire would have to stay abandoned.  They put moorings where boats could tie up too for the day, but NOT over night.

After  that every one lived happily ever after,

but they still wondered who JOHN RUBISKY was.

The Chocolate In Chocolate

My grandmother came to visit us for Jade's and her birthday. We went to the chocolate factory for my grandmother's birthday, and it was really fun.

When we went into the building we saw a table that was full of fruits that we had never seen and some spices and the guy there that was going to give us a tour just after my grand father came back from the chocolate store any ways the tour guide told us about the fruits and the spices.

After my grandfather came back from the store the tour  guide took us out in the woods and showed us how to get the pods off the trees.

It was really fun  Stella was the first to actually nock one down I tried but it was way harder than it looked. The first one went bad, so we got a second one down from the trees and we cracked it open on a rock  we ate the inside, and it was very good.

mean wile my mom was looking around on the ground for avocados.

The tour guide saw my mom picking up a avocado that was on the ground and he walked over and said I'm pretty sure that you don't want to eat that of the ground my mom said it looks pretty good. all get you one from the tree he picked a high one and said all get you this one.

My dad offered to catch  it when it fell down so with the tour guides long stick that had a knife at the end of it he cut it of it came hurtling down to my dads open hands and missed by an inch and crashed to the ground.

My mom walked over and said it looks fine she picked it up the tour guide said if you say so and got her two more low ones from the trees and caught them him self.

Then we walked up the path to the building and saw these big strips of pavement. The tour guide walked over to them and pulled out a big drawer it was full of dried cocoa beans.

he let us walk in them he said that that was what they did every half an hour because they wanted them to dry out so you have to turn them over like your baking them well you sort of are baking them, after we walked in them we got to taste one it was very bitter but good.

Then I had to go to the bathroom so I went up to the restaurant, and when I came back I saw my sister and my other sister sitting in a little trolley type thing.

I squeezed in with them and he took us for a ride after we came back to were are parents were standing the tour guide walked us up to  were I saw the oldest tree I  think that had ever lived it was split in half at the bottom and came back together in the middle were I also saw a bell that if you were really short you had to clime the tree so me and jade and Stella had to clime the tree the tour guide let us ring the bell a couple, times it was fun after that he led us in to the big building and sat us down in front of a TV  he said now I'm going to show you a video of long ago in the chocolate factory I'll be right back with some test tasters for you and some cocoa tea. When he came back with the cocoa tea it was delicious then he brought us a sixty percent chocolate and a seventy percent, they were awesome.

We ate all of the little pieces in the cup evan though I don't think we weren't supposed to .
The tour was over then me and Stella dragged are grandmother out of the building and over to the talking parrot that's name is rainbow we spent a few minutes with the parrot then rushed over to the tortoises!!! they were sort of cool we got to hold the babies it was fun evan though for a week afterward I had these mysterious red bumps on my legs but I was okay.

Man was the chocolate factory fun.

Story Telling

So for today's blog I'm going to tell a story about three kids that have some experience with boating.

Once upon a time there were three kids.Their names were Stella Cleo Jade. They loved boats  so they desided to go on a little boat trip in fact it was there first boat trip on a catamaran  they were going with there parents. Right now there geting reaty for the trip. The next morning they set out for oister pond
there destination. It was very wavy so they were going up down up down. The middle one was not that fortunate because she kept throwing up over the side but the youngest named jade was just asleep and when they got to oister pond she woke up how lucky is she that she skipped the terrible trip and got to wake up at the exiting part.

                          the end

So is that a good story well i think it is a good story.  We had something happen to us to  sense i am the middle one that through up a lot i wasn't that fortunate   but know i'm better.

Almost Ready.

Me sailing with my sister.

What every body tells me about the trip we're going on  is so exiting but what I think is going to be so exiting is all the places we're going to see.

My dad is talking to my grandfather and telling him how to axess an app on his ipad that can see where we're traveling.I'm also exited about making new friends. When ever we go to a new place I want to make some new friends.

I am also looking forward to learning new sports and games and also teaching other kids how to play soccer for instance.

My dad said that in one place these kids from a town that  we  are going to visite would get up early and play a soccer game each morning I thought that was pretty awesome even though I didn't really like the geting up early part of it. But I would like to try it any way.
